The University of La Verne men's and women's cross country teams faced stiff competition in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Eight-Way Meet at La Mirada Park on Friday.
Head coach Pat Widolff came back home from Whittier after the end of Saturday's Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Quad Meet with a sense of contentment and pride for the track and field teams.
