Often times it is hard to find something fun to do around campus. However, there are plenty of things to do coming up in the next couple of weeks around the La Verne area. Here are some of the events that can keep you busy and entertained in the long stretch until Thanksgiving break.

Twisting grape vines blanketing wide patches of land, creeping greenery at the San Bernardino Mountains feet, vibrant wildflowers peeping through long strands of golden yellow field grass; throw in a few houses and buildings and this is my memory of Rancho Cucamonga growing up.

With La Verne’s limited local hot spots, students hit the freeways to get to their favorite hangouts and have a good time.

You can rely on retail stores to keep you on track for Christmas shopping this holiday season. Most stores have their holiday merchandise and decorations prominently displayed soon after we fold away our Halloween costumes and start making plans for Thanksgiving dinner.
