The aroma of sweet, juicy, ripe oranges filled La Verne’s Heritage park this winter, as the last remaining orange grove in the city was open to the public.
The sound of chicks chirping filled the air as a tractor filled with hay and happy families circled the one and a half-acre ranch of the Heritage Park farm in La Verne last weekend.
The La Verne Heritage Foundation gives back to the community several times a year. This past summer, it was finally time for someone else to give back to the Heritage Foundation.
Orange and yellow are scattered everywhere as pumpkins of every size sit on haystacks waiting to be chosen at the Heritage Foundation’s 15th annual pumpkin patch.
