The Leopards are 11-17 overall and 5-4 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after dropping five straight to Williams, Elmhurst and Redlands.

After a season long series of hosting nationally-ranked programs, the La Verne softball team concluded non-conference play against No. 7 Williams College on Monday, dropping the doubleheader with the scores 4-3 in game one and 9-3 in game two.

The game was not looking good for La Verne baseball as they were down 8-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning.

With a nail biter for the first game and the teams going back and forth, La Verne swept Whittier in a doubleheader Saturday at Campus West.

After losing the first game to the Redlands Bulldogs, 14-7, the Leopards came back with a vengeance to split and win the second game with they mercy rule in the fifth inning, 9-0, Saturday at Campus West.

Walking in a straight line, with instruments in hand, the University of La Verne band made its way toward the stands Saturday just before the start of the football game.
