Holmes set to retire

Gilbert Holmes, dean of the University of La Verne College of Law, announced his plan to retire at the end of this academic year. In his four years at the law school’s top post, Holmes brought the College of Law full American Bar Association accreditation, which means that graduates from the La Verne College of Law may practice law in any state in the U.S. Holmes, a native New Yorker, said he will stay in Southern California in retirement.
