Members of the University of La Verne dance team held a dance showcase titled, “World of Dance.” 

For the Love of Arts Benefit Concert, a silent auction and fundraiser put on by the Cultural Arts Society of La Verne, was held Saturday in the meeting house at the Hillcrest Retirement Community in La Verne. More than 100 guests helped raise $3,100 for future art programs throughout the night.

Aneel Sigala and Sandra Munoz from Streets Deadliest Dance Team perform Tuesday night at the multicultural dance event in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre.

Bare feet jumped from the hardwood floor and fell with a thump to the quick beat of Shakira’s “Waka Waka” playing in the background.

Dance crew Identity X’s dedication shined during their performance, and so did the pain, sweat, and tears of every other dancer that graced the stage of the World of Dance tour.
