Awards honor academic excellence
Outstanding students, their parents and University of La Verne faculty packed Founders Auditorium Saturday for the annual academic awards ceremony.
Speakers address Earthly concerns
Two guest speakers, Brian Swimme and Mary Evelyn Tucker, presented a series of lectures on Sept. 26 in Founders Auditorium and La Fetra Hall. "The Role of the Human in the Earth Community" and "The Earth Charter: Rebuilding the Future," addressed some of the University of La Verne's core principles of sustainability and the environment.
Forum to be held with Financial Aid
After repeatedly being frustrated by the financial aid process, junior Amanda Holthouse decided to plan an open forum for students to voice their financial aid concerns.
