It isn't every day that a University of La Verne student travels to Africa, but for sophomore Elissa Salas, a journey to Togo and Benin was quite a reality.
Seats in Founders Auditorium filled quickly on Wednesday, May 2, as people flocked to see the University of La Verne's chamber singers perform "Dido and Aeneas," an opera by Henry Purcell.
For some students at the University of La Verne, the beach is too far to travel out to on weekends, so Davenport Dining Services decided to bring the beach to them on Saturday afternoon by bringing in sand, a doughboy pool, and setting up volleyball nets in Sneaky Park.
