Students appreciate transparency

The 3.88 percent tuition increase to be initiated for the upcoming school year is a crushing financial blow for many students. This increase, however, is modest compared to previous years. Although any increase is tough, this time administration took student input into account when choices were made.

Debate team places second in Open

The La Verne Debate team is now ranked second in the nation after placing second in the final round of the National US Open at Claremont McKenna College Sunday. Team A, consisting of seniors Sam French and Carl Decker, brought home the award for the team.
