International theater director Georgij Paro shined a new light on the University of La Verne’s theatre department with a dramatic play called “Life’s a Dream,” written by the Spanish playwright Pedro Calderon de la Barca performed this week.

With it’s newest production, the University of La Verne Theater Department shows that Samuel Beckett’s classical play “Waiting for Godot” does not have to be boring, depressing or nerve-wracking.
The theater mini-festival, sponsored by the University of La Verne Department of Theatre Arts, offered hands-on experience for students in the directing studio class and an escape from the televised coverage of the war.
