When the La Verne football team wins, it wins big.

Soon after enrolling at the University of La Verne most people find themselves wanting some sort of a relationship, whether it be going out on dates, trying to find that perfect someone or more likely than not finding that casual hook-up.

In a game that was close to being cancelled due to local fires, rushing was the name of the game, as Azusa Pacific University easily handed the Leopards their sixth straight loss behind 163 yards rushing and four touchdowns from tailback Ben Buys as well as defensive domination for the 42-0 shutout in front of 3,100 fans at Cougar Stadium, Saturday night.
