Old Town La Verne got into the festive spirit of the holidays Saturday in Mainiero Square for its eighth annual Christmas tree lighting and holiday open house.
Mainiero Square was transformed into a Halloween wonderland decorated with skeletons, spider webs and spooky signs as La Verne Community Television hosted its seventh annual live broadcast, Halloween Spooktacular, from 3-5 p.m. Saturday.
