Human Resources, the Literacy Center and the Office of Information Technologies have been temporarily relocated for two weeks to the Bonita Building, located on the corner of Bonita Avenue and D Street, after a transformer overheated Tuesday afternoon.

The comfortable, cozy environment of the Human Resources Department will miss recently retired Rebecca Franklin, the former University of La Verne benefits manager and assistant director of human resources.

A cheerful greeting awaits for all who call the University of La Verne switchboard. The greeting voice belongs to Janie Stahly, chief telephone operator. Stahly is the newest member of the Telecommunications Department, and began working at ULV on Aug. 3.
