For the University of La Verne baseball team, last weekend's competition at the California Invitational brought the best of times and the worst of times as the Leopards finished 3-3.

Although they let a nine-run lead slip away in their third game, the University of La Verne Leopards managed to take two of three games from the University of Redlands Bulldogs last Friday and Saturday.
After a close 12-11 victory over Pacific University of Oregon on March 18, the University of La Verne baseball team has fallen upon hard times, and has managed only one win in its last six games.
