Lance Armstrong is undoubtedly a known name in the current athletic world after winning seven Tour de France races. However recently, Armstrong is not known for his success as a cyclist, but rather the cheating behind it.

The typical “last column” is a chance for an editor to say goodbye and talk about their time at La Verne, Campus Times, etc. You know, all that sappy goodness.

At the stroke of midnight on Oct. 1, six-time Tour de France winner and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong and 19 other cyclists departed the City of Hope Cancer Center in Duarte for the ceremonial start of a week long relay ride across America.
