After 18 years of playing the piano, Gregory Ramirez, senior music major, performed his senior piano recital Saturday in Morgan Auditorium.
This is the story of MohWei “Marge” Chen-Hribar, senior adjunct professor of piano, piano workshop, sight singing, ear training and accompanist. When she was 15, Chen-Hribar received a full-tuition scholarship to the Royal Music Conservatory in Brussels, Belgium.
Sundays at the Morgan featured a “Best of La Verne” recital where faculty and performance scholarship students performed a variety of music styles like romanticism and musical theater Sunday.

The small University Chapel was filled with the sound of piano keys and the voices of students as they sang solos for an audience of about 20 people last month.
