As the regular season winds down to its final game, the La Verne men’s soccer team is sitting pretty with a place in the playoffs after a week of clutch play that included defeating the Caltech Beavers, 6-3, last Saturday, and Pomona-Pitzer, 2-0, on Wednesday.
For the first time this season, the La Verne men’s soccer team was able to find that elusive “golden goal” during overtime in order to propel them to victory over Cal Lutheran, 2-1, on Saturday.
