As part of Women's History Month, Phi Sigma Sigma and the Office of Student Life sponsored guest speaker Diane Baquet, who spoke primarily about domestic violence last Friday.

Throughout the month of March, University of La Verne sororities Phi Sigma Sigma, Sigma Kappa and Iota Delta will work together to present National Women's History Month to the ULV community.

Every semester dozens of students from the University of La Verne sign up for rush while feelings of anticipation and curiosity fill their minds. They often wonder if they are the "type" to be in a sorority or fraternity and what benefits could result from being a member. The time has come once again to answer these questions, the biggest one of all being, "What is rush?"

Throughout the week, you may have seen decorated boxes near the Student Center desk bearing Greek letters and filled with canned foods. This, among other things, was part of Charity Greek Week, a week where Greek organizations can give something to the community just in time for the holidays.

AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) will host its 11th Annual AIDS Walk, to raise money to fight the disease, this Sunday, beginning in front of Paramount Studios on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. The route is 10 kilometers long.
