Belatedly, it has come to my attention that one of University of La Verne’s most esteemed professors, Prof. Emerita Rhoda Kachuck (1932-2022), has passed with little or no notice in our community.
After a two-year absence, the University of La Verne once again held its annual Passover Seder on Wednesday, hosted by the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life and Hillel, a Jewish club on campus.
The University of La Verne will be taking 26-30 people to its 22nd year at the Ashland Oregon Shakespeare Festival on June 30-July 8. The festival will showcase eight plays in the Elizabethan Theater, Black Swan and Angus Bowmer Theater.
Expected to be one of the largest graduation ceremonies in University of La Verne history, over 2,100 students will take part in Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 28 in Ortmayer Stadium.
