Organizers of Spring Commencement this month announced the change of location for Spring 2018 Commencement, from Citizens Business Bank Arena to Campus West.
The University Mall was once fields filled with rows of orange groves; 125 years later, on April 27, that space was brought to life with music, food and games as the community gathered to celebration of the University of La Verne’s Founders Day.
Greek life at La Verne is different than the expectations set by the media, and some other universities – partly because La Verne is a relatively small university.
Green and orange flags and signs placed around campus built the community’s anticipation as staff, faculty and students gathered in front of Founders Hall to celebrate the University of La Verne’s 125th anniversary at convocation Aug. 31.
Students and faculty gathered Wednesday afternoon in Johnson Family Plaza to listen to vocal performances and poetry readings as well as admire fine art and photography as part of the Student Artistic Festival Day.
