Artists of the Pacific Islands gathered in LaFetra Hall to present their work as part of the opening day for the Contemporary Samoan Art Exhibition.

While most students spent their spring break having fun in the sun and partying, several students went to New York for the National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference. Eight students, along with John Jang, professor of government and global studies, spent nearly six days representing their MUN country, Samoa.

Each year, the Model United Nations (MUN) Club at the University of La Verne meets with several other colleges and universities across the world to act as representatives for each country at the Model United Nations conference.
