Ten named to Homecoming Court
In continuing an annual tradition, the University of La Verne student body elected 10 seniors to be a part of the 2000 Homecoming Court, which was announced on Oct. 9 during the Illumination ceremony.
Students to test drive new program
Michael Houdyshell, coordinator of campus activities and commuter programs, has reinvented and made innovative changes to change the Student Program Assistants (SPAs) positions to Commuter Program Assistants (CPAs). It is a program with the objective of getting commuter students to interact with the University of La Verne.
Graduation marshals flare up commencement
On May 28 there will be about 200 undergraduate students walking into Ortmayer Stadium to participate in the commencement. However, six of them will not be graduating.
Rush Week provides glimpse at life
Interested recruits are keeping busy this week as they attended events sponsored by the sororities and fraternities of the University of La Verne during this year's rush week, which concludes today.
