The University of La Verne’s Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the West Dining Room Wednesday morning at 9:16. The forum attended to the discharge of business and largely therein to the elections of the vice-president and secretarial positions.
Members of ASF interviewed senior Araceli Esparza, freshman Jennifer Davis, junior Nick Van Der Wende, junior Tom Chambers, and junior Mario Guerrero for the position of vice-president of activities. Freshman Risa Martinez ran unopposed for the position of secretary.
After discussions concluded, ASF elected Chambers to the vice-presidential position, while Martinez was elected as secretary.
Campus Safety and Transportation Director John Lentz spoke to inform ASF that official enforcement of the parking permits will begin on March 15 with warning citations for violators. Lentz said fines will be issued after April 1.
ASF accountant Shellie Etheridge said that the forum has a current balance of $57,843.77 with combined activities and advocacy budgets.
