Dancers, food, and informational booths lined the University of La Verne’s quad as students gathered from 11:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Latino Festival to celebrate the independence of Latino countries.
As of Aug. 30 only 61 of the 1,396 main campus traditional undergraduate students who attended the 2003-2004 school year took summer courses offered at ULV this year, which was 10 more than last year.
Latino music and the mouth-watering smell of enchiladas and fajitas were spread all over campus Monday as the Latino Student Forum held the Latino fiesta in honor of Latino heritage month.
