Junior Jacqui Zwissler loves to beat teams on their field. Thanks to solid defensive play, combined with offensive depth that left its opponents standing still, the ULV women’s soccer team dominated the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas, 6-0, on their field Wednesday afternoon.
Coming off its best season in history (10-6-1, 9-3), the women’s soccer at the University of La Verne kicked its season off on the right foot last weekend in San Antonio, Texas, and currently holds a 2-1 record.
After a slow start that kept the women’s tennis team behind most of the season, the team finished sixth in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play.
