LV runners set record times at Oxy
The University of La Verne track and field teams traveled to Occidental College this past weekend to compete in the Occidental Distance Carnival Friday and the Oxy Spring Break Classic Saturday.
Team sprints to perfect record, 4-0
The University of La Verne had its second Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference quad track meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on La Verne's new track. The Leopards came into the meet 2-0 in conference,for both the men and women.
Track to regain conference crown
Even though last Saturday's relay invitational did not count a great deal on paper, the University of La Verne track and field team handled the meet as if it was a conference tie-breaker.
Track, field runs toward Nationals
The University of La Verne men's and women's track and field teams have elevated their level of performance this season capturing 16 SCIAC titles, placing second in conference for the women's teams, a co-championship for the men, and breaking a number of records along the way.
