Commencement

Baccalaureate Services will be held Saturday, May 24, at 4 p.m. at the La Verne Church of the Brethren, 2425 “E” Street. The Rev. Dr. Beth Glick-Rieman, from the Human Improvement in Religion and Society, will be speaking.

Commencement ceremonies will be held Sunday, May 25, in Ortmayer Stadium.

Undergraduate ceremonies will begin at 9:30 a.m. The speaker will be Ramon C. Cortines, acting secretary of the Office of Educational Research and Improvement at the United States Department of Education.

Graduate ceremonies will begin at 4 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. Barry Posner, a well-known author and leadership expert. Dr. Posner is also a professor of organizational behavior and managing partner for the Executive Development Center at Santa Clara University.

Graduates may begin picking up their caps and gowns Tuesday, May 20, in the Old Gym.
