‘Slow Fire’
The Irene Carlson Gallery is currently showcasing “Slow Fire,” a collection of black and white documentary photographs at the University of La Verne.
The exhibit will feature the work of photographers Glenn Hanson and Anthony W. Thompson.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tall Wall Exhibit
The Tall Wall Space of the Department of Art and Art History features “Fountain,” an exhibit created by Los Angeles based artist Chris Oatey.
The fountain drawing measures approximately 30 feet tall.
The reception will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on March 29 at the Tall Wall Space located in the Arts and Communications Building.
This exhibition will remain until December 18.
Glasshouse Show
Funeral For a Friend will perform with The Sleeping, Emarosa and This Is Hell tonight at the Glasshouse in Pomona. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Family Art Day
Family Art Day hosted by the Claremont Museum of Art invites everyone for a day of creating self-portraits.
Inspired by the artwork of James Hueter, participants can turn their self-observations into a work of art from noon to 4 p.m. on Feb. 22. This event is free and open to the public.
