‘Depth of Field’
The Irene Carlson Gallery of photography in Miller Hall is showcasing the biannual adjunct photography faculty exhibit, “Depth of Field.” The exhibit highlights the University of La Verne’s faculty and their diverse approaches to a lens-based artistic practice. There will be a reception and artist walkthrough from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m, Thursday in the gallery.
The exhibit runs through Oct. 14.
Admission is free.
‘Ink and Clay’
The Kellogg Art Gallery at Cal Poly Pomona is showing “Ink and Clay 45 – The Art of Type,” an on-site exhibition and annual nationwide competition consisting of works of ink and clay.
The show runs through Nov. 17.
The gallery is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, Mondays and Tuesdays, and noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission is free.
The Haven

‘Enlightenment in Ink’
The Asian Library of the Claremont Colleges is showing “Enlightenment in Ink: The Art of Buddhist Prints,” an on-site exhibition that showcases the library’s collection of rare Chinese Buddhist prints and manuscripts, most of which date from the late imperial period, Ming and Qing dynasties, 1368-1912.
The show runs through Sep. 30.
The gallery is open from 8 a.m to 6 p.m Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m to 6 p.m Saturdays.
The exhibit is located at the Asian Library at the Claremont Colleges on 800 N. Dartmouth Ave.
Admission is free.
