Renowned Southwest artist and ULV professor Joella Jean Mahoney will be giving a talk on her 30-year retrospective show Monday, March 18, at 4 p.m. in the Harris Art Gallery.
AASA Dance
The Afrikan American Student Alliance is co-sponsoring a dance with the Cloud 9 Players on Friday, March 22, from 9:30 p.m.-2 a.m. in the Student Center. Admission is $1.
Hall of Mirrors
The Museum of Contemporary Art will present “Hall of Mirrors: Art and Film Since 1945.” This exhibition includes 200 art objects, 50 films and excerpts and 12 installations.
A full-scale re-creation of the set for the dream sequence from Alfred Hitchcock’s “Spellbound,” designed by Salvador Dali, is just one of the many installations. “Hall of Mirrors” will be on display from March 17-July 28 at the MOCA Temporary Contemporary.
