The dismal 2016 season wrapped up with some more disappointment for the women’s soccer team after a 4-1 defeat to No. 21 Pomona-Pitzer on senior night Saturday at Ortmayer Stadium.
Despite a stronger second half and the ability to create chances, the Leopards were held scoreless in a 2-0 defeat against the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas Wednesday night at Ortmayer Stadium.
The goal drought and winless streak is finally over for the women’s soccer team as it defeated the Whittier Poets, 2-0, Wednesday night at Ortmayer Stadium.
The women’s soccer team fell short to the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, 3-1, on Saturday in Claremont. The Leopards now have a 6-8-2 overall record and a 4-7-1 record in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
After losing their season-opener Sept. 1 against Vanguard, the Leopards played a defensive first half and defeated the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs, 3-1, Friday at Ortmayer Stadium.
