It is time that students stop complaining about The Spot and Davenport. I am sick of all the complaints. I am sick of the sulking faces talking to me about their growling bellies. And I sure am sick of people who are too afraid to take a stand, express their anger and ensure that they are heard. It is time to either take a stand or shut up.

Spot reopens amid big celebration

Grand reopening festivities for the University of La Verne's "new" snack bar took place Monday, with a food fair and musical entertainment from Obscure Cover featured as part of the celebration.

Spot remains closed; cash refunded

The re-opening of the Spot has once again been delayed, due to further hold-ups with subcontractors. But this time, in order to decrease student complaints Dr. Loretta Rahmani, dean of students affairs, said students with meal plans will be refunded with their bonus dollars in cash.
