The Office of Information Technology has replaced the retired Bill Blackmur with new Senior Telecommunications Specialist Lavergne Dacuycuy, who is already taking on the responsibilities to implement effective solutions in supporting his team at the University of La Verne.

After their retirement this summer from the University of La Verne, William and Barbara Blackmur plan to travel up the east coast. Unlike all of their other one to two week trips, they want to spend several months on the road in their motor home next spring. The Grand Canyon, Lake Tahoe, Missouri and Florida are definite checkpoints along their way. After hitting Florida, the couple plans to go all the way up the east coast.

The residence halls at the University of La Verne have used Campus Link, a phone service provider, for close to 10 years.

Various service awards were distributed Wednesday, May 17 to dedicated employees at the University of La Verne.
