The La Verne Policy Department is investigating a snatch-and-run robbery, which occurred at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday, at Leo Park, according to University Campus Safety and police reports.
Campus Safety and the La Verne Police Department were investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred Aug. 30 – until the alleged victim retracted her statement the same day.
A man is being sought and a woman was taken into custody Saturday after allegedly breaking into and attempting to steal a Mac computer from an office in Miller Hall, Campus Safety said in an email Monday.
Campus Safety is encouraging the University community to take precautions when walking and talking on a cell phone after a “snatch and grab” robbery Tuesday afternoon.
