The Harris Art Gallery kicked off spring semester with new work by Los Angeles-based artists and some of La Verne’s own professors on Tuesday night at the “It’s All Around You” exhibit.

Emotion ran high at a faculty farewell breakfast buffet for Fred Yaffe, the outgoing dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Yaffe is stepping down from his position and he will join the faculty at the University of La Verne in the fall.
