Playing video games may be a solo activity for some, but according to the members of the La Verne Gamers Guild, competing with each other creates community.
In a game based on strategy and reaction time, competitive gamers were tested at the League of Legends tournament hosted by the Gamers Guild in the Campus Center Oct. 15 and 16. Gamers Guild is a club that promotes gaming on campus.
The Gamers Guild members compete against one another in “fight nights” every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the first floor of the Campus Center in Leo’s Den.
