Jewish tradition came to the University of La Verne when roughly 20 students, faculty and staff gathered for a model Passover Seder Wednesday.
“I get so hungry when I hear this music” said Steve Biondo, music department coordinator and lover of Italian food, culture and music. He was referring to the sounds and rhythms of Musicántica, a concert that featured music from Southern Italy’s oral tradition.
The University of La Verne’s Faculty Research and Professional Activity Day will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m Oct. 13, in the library and Harris Art Gallery.
