I am somewhat amazed at the amount of response generated by the issue of arts funding. I am simply glad this issue is getting press and it is encouraging to see that the Campus Times is so willing to address the matter.
Production empowers shapely women
The University of La Verne theater department performed playwright Josefina Lopez’s play, “Real Women Have Curves,” with Lopez in the audience for its first production on Sept. 30. Before the play Lopez offered a two hour workshop and lecture.
