Kanaka Hui Ohana, a club that promotes the interests of Hawaiian, Asian, and Pacific Islander students on campus, threw its annual Hawaiian Night Luau at the University of La Verne on Monday in Sneaky Park.
Tiki torches, leis and barely-dressed Polynesian dancers swayed with the live Hawaiian music, entertaining the audience during the 27th annual Luau and Polynesian Hula Show hosted by Kanaka Hui Ohana, the University of La Verne’s Hawaiian club, last week in Sneaky Park.
Students and faculty members were greeted with colorful leis and invited to sit down, dine on Hawaiian cuisine and soak up the light and breezy island atmosphere at the annual lu’au held by Kanaka Hui Ohana, the University of La Verne’s Hawaiian club, on May 12 in the University Mall.
