As our world is ravaged by our excessive use of fossil fuels we need our consumption kept in check. The current gas tax that proposition 6 seeks to repeal is the first step in staying accountable and it is a fee that needs to be paid.

Voters set double standards

Simply thinking of eating horse meat makes me sick. Most likely, I will never try a bite of it in my entire life, but it is in no way my right to tell someone else what kind of animal meat they should or should not eat.

With elections just around the corner (Nov. 3), it is necessary for the University of La Verne community to be well-informed of propositions and candidates that will ultimately influence and structure laws and society.
