Upon President Barack Obama’s re-election on Nov. 6, several students at the University of La Verne have shared their approval of the results and have begun to focus on what they hope the next four years will bring for the country.
Dozens of students gathered at the University Mall on Tuesday afternoon to enjoy warm weather, food, music and giveaways while also learning about ways to help the environment.
The new smoking policy, which took effect Jan. 1 and banishes smokers to parking lots and a few designated smoking areas, is getting mixed reviews from students and staff, who also note that its enforcement so far has been spotty.
