Student athletes were honored at the University of La Verne Fall Sports Award Banquet at the Church of the Brethren Fellowship Hall last Tuesday night.

Last Tuesday night the University of La Verne women's volleyball team had no problems with the low­ly Athenas of Scripps College, taking a three-game sweep at Clare­mont, 15-7, 15-7 and 15-2.

What's in store for ULV women's basketball in 1982? According to Head Coach Nancy Blickenstaff, "We're going to surprise some peo­ple."

A budgetary statement for the Associated Students Federation (ASF), prepared by Treasurer Dana Jones, showed that current expen­ditures were well within the limits of spending allowances. As Jones put it at the recent ASF meeting, "For once I can say ASF is not spending its money fast enough."

Each year, graduating senior students across the United States are chosen for a distinguished award, that award being the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
