The University of La Verne has started searching for a new food provider to cook for the masses. Committees have met with four different food providers for a chance to take over Sodexo’s position. Now that there might be a change in who is providing the food to the students, faculty and staff, this is the perfect time for the student body to request new food options as well.
After nine years with Sodexo food services, the University of La Verne has decided to place a bid for other companies to fulfill the University’s residential dining, retail and catering needs.
If any University of La Verne student or faculty goes to Barbara’s Place or Davenport Dining Hall, they are presented with many hot food options. But if anyone was searching for a healthy option as to not gain the “freshman 15” or because they were on a diet, they would be out of luck.
