The last day of Greek Week marks a time of joy, relief and one last competition.

The opportunity to be surrounded by dozens of successful businessmen and women, including University of La Verne alumni, corporate associates and a successful keynote speaker, was given to those who attended the University’s annual Corporate Associates business lecture and luncheon.

The blue carpet was rolled out in front of Founders Hall, and the University of La Verne’s 2007 Homecoming court sparkled under the stars Oct. 15 to kick off Homecoming week with Illuminations.

With fall fashion already in stores, University of La Verne students spoke about the warm and cozy fall trends that are steadily approaching Southern California.

The 2006 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference held its championship meets April 24-25 at Redlands. Many La Verne track and field athletes competed on day one of the preliminaries and day two of the final events.

In his 12 seasons at the helm of the University of La Verne track and field team, head coach Pat Widolff has seen many caliber teams grace the track and grass.
