Surprised bystanders on Wednesday witnessed the inaugural performance of Points, the new performance group consisting of sophomore Stacey Williams, senior Eric Mulholland, alumna Alice Gasparian-Pietrzak and Mark Pietrzak, Dailey Theatre technical director. Combining music with improvisational movement, the group began at the south end of Miller Hall, concluding about 30 minutes later near the seal. For the first performance Pietrzak said, “we had a rough structure outlined, into which we tried to work movement and improvisation. We made most of our objectives.” The group intends to plan more performances for next year. / photo by Kevin Holland
