Senior Seminar

The 1996 Senior Survival Seminar will be held Feb. 14 from 8:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Career Development Center. For information, call ext. 4054.

The seminar will provide opportunities and information to seniors on identifying and examining their own skills, and conducting mock interviews. The cost is $5 per person.

Concert

The Jon Rothe Band will present Rhythm and Blues, Fusion, and Original Works on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. in Founders Hall Auditorium.

Hall of Fame Dinner

The Third Annual ULV Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner will be held on Feb. 17, 1996 at the Sheraton Suites Fairplex, at 6 p.m. Cost is $30 per person. Call ext.4680 for reservations.

Love Carefully Week

During “Love Carefully Week” Feb. 12-16, eight panels of the Aids Quilt will be displayed in the Wilson Library.

Commentary: I have never been to a concert, and here’s why

The Los Angeles area was overflowing with concerts this summer. As a Los Angeles resident, I was ready to go into the online waiting queues for tickets, no matter how many hours it took, since there were so many artists I loved coming to town.
