ASF Minutes

The Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the West Dining Room Wednesday, April 29, for the last time of the 1997-98 school year, looking at a revised budget and elections.

Revised Budget

The new, revised ASF budget is $25,265.91 and $4,000 was spent on the “GameWorks” event held yesterday.

FRB Allocations

The Financial Review Board also met at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Iota Delta Sorority requested $500 for its annual Clothesline Project and were unallocated the money.

Despite cuts, University maintains its ‘A’ credit rating

The University of La Verne was classified as financially stable after receiving an “A” rating from Fitch Ratings last month. Fitch Ratings is an organization that publishes credit ratings for corporations and other institutions based on their ability to meet financial commitments, such as paying off debts.
