ASF Minutes

The Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met Wednesday in the West Dining Room, looking at new committee assignments, special elections and the revised account balance.

Special Elections

The final date to turn in applications for special elections is Tuesday, Feb. 10. Two Forum members and one transfer representative will be elected this semester and interviews will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Members Absent

As the meeting was called to order at 8:35 a.m., those members absent were seniors Andrew Bills, Tamara Loyd, freshman Christine Mikusky and senior President Dan Lougheed. If members are absent more than two times, they will automatically be terminated from the Forum position.

Allocations

In an ongoing discussion, the Forum allocated $5,000 to the Communications Department for its request of $6,875 toward the cost of FM transmitters to be placed in the Oaks and Brandt Hall for KULV radio station.

The Forum also denied a request by the Senior Retreat Committee for $1,000.
