NASCAR racing doesn’t typically consider the University of La Verne campus home. But when the track is only 26 feet long, and the cars can be controlled with a remote, ULV can tell its students to start their engines.
With so many issues to deal with at the University of La Verne, students now have a voice to speak their opinions and concerns. The newly restructured Associated Students Federation Forum has become that advocate for students.
Eric Bishop, a University of La Verne alumnus, who also held several positions at La Verne – including associate dean of academic advising, journalism professor and Campus Times adviser – was recently appointed president of Ohlone Community College in Fremont, California. He starts July 6.
