With finals coming fast, there is no need to push yourself to your breaking point due to the stress of the end of the semester. Everyone is in the same mindset of ‘crunch-time’ so just know that you are not alone.
The Associated Students of the University of La Verne presented the Faculty Senate with a resolution on May 6 calling for adjustments to the finals week standards – with the hope of reducing the burden being placed on students trying to finish up the semester in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the transition to all online classes, and the host of challenges of this unprecedented moment.
The Academic Success Center hosted one of its biggest events, The Finals Countdown, on Tuesday night, which is a final opportunity to unwind before the dreaded week of finals becomes a reality.
Students will not be saying the “Thank God it’s Friday” today as they walk into their respective classrooms to take, not their last final, but their first.
